Cognia’s holistic approach to school improvement includes in-depth diagnostic reviews that establish root causes, create a vision, and identify measurable and achievable improvement priorities. As a continuous improvement organization, Cognia is committed to examining and evaluating our services to ensure we are best serving leaders and learners. For this reason, Cognia contracted with Johns Hopkins University’s Center for Research and Reform in Education (CRRE) to conduct a third-party evaluation of our Diagnostic Review process. This research aimed to uncover the degree to which Diagnostic Reviews were effective in driving school improvement, identify the most valuable parts of the process, and suggest potential improvements.
